Amended policy regarding the Covid-19
The unpredicted event has led us to institute the following changes which are applicable only to bookings for travel between 15th of March 2020 and the 15th of November 2020.
Should a guest not wish to travel over the current booking dates the booking may be amended and move to the same (or similar) dates in 2021 or to any other period within 12 12 months, subject to availability and at the same 2020 tariff.
Please note that only one amendment may be made on any booking and should the season in which the new booking takes place, be a higher seasonal rate than the current booking, the higher rate will apply to the new booking. This applies only to guests who are “trading up” in seasons.
Our current cancellation policies still apply to any outright cancellations.
We continue to recommend to all of our guests, past, and present, that they take out comprehensive travel insurance when booking a holiday wherever it may be.
Khanyakude retains the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and will send out notification of changes, should it be of any material effect.
Terms and Conditions
Check-in time is between 14H00 and 19H00. Early or late check-in should be arranged prior to arrival date. Late arrivals who have not prearranged their late arrival with KhanyaKude will be liable for a surcharge.
Check-out time is no later than 11 am on the day of departure.
A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance is payable on arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit has been received by KhanyaKude Bed & Breakfast.
Confirmation of reservation: Our Terms & Conditions are deemed to have been accepted by the Guest on receipt by KhanyaKude Bed and Breakfast of the deposit. Payment can be done by Payfast or Paypal or electronic funds transfers.
Cancellation Policy: In order to avoid any misunderstanding, cancellations should be submitted in writing and either emailed to or via SMS to 072 4617726. Please contact KhanyaKude to ensure that your cancellation advice has been received by KhanyaKude Management.
Khanyakude will seek full payment on any reservation for which the Guest fails to arrive. This includes any cancellation which is made 48 hours or less prior to arrival date.
Cancellation charges apply, as follows:
Cancellation made 1-7 days prior to arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit.
Cancellation made 8-14 days prior to arrival date forfeit 75% of the deposit
Cancellation made 14-28 days prior to arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit
Cancellation made further in advance than 28 days will be refunded the deposit minus a 10% handling fee.
Please note that from 14 December 2018 till the 7th of January 2019 we have a NON REFUNDABLE policy.
Room occupancy is only permitted to those persons in whose name the reservation was made.
Please note that Khanya Kude has a NO CHILDREN policy and children will not be accepted at check-in.
There are also friendly dogs and a cat on the property.
All the above cancellation charges will apply.

To provide and operate the Services;
To provide our Users with their bookings and payments and questions;

To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Paybridge and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your reservation, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
