KhanyaKude means "Light that Shines from far." We hope that we are the "shine" that makes your next business or leisure trip pleasurable.
Welcome to the comfort of Khanya Kude, glamorous Afro-chic home, surrounded by several enchanted indigenous gardens, attracting flights of birds and butterflies plus sea views.
Relax on the pool Patio or the enormous farm Verandah, great for conferences, lap-topping, or just delight in the view from the huge couches or hammock, surrounded by artifacts and exotic plants. You will be treated to fine linens, good hospitality, and a host of thoughtful details.
The entire top floor of the home is dedicated to our guests, just a staircase away to your private room.
We have three comfortable private ensuite bedrooms and one self-catering unit which provides a gracious retreat for the businessman or traveler who needs a home away from home. The three private rooms have their ensuite bathroom which has the choice of a separate bath and shower, there is also a hairdryer, soap and shampoo supplied. In each room, there are coffee tea making facilities, TV, a small bar fridge and air conditioner.
A delicious continental breakfast is served from our large farmhouse verandah. Should you require any special dietary requirements, please let us know on booking, as we can cater for your needs.
The self-catering Khanya Ekhaya is a small unique, modern self-catering unit that sleeps two. It is situated at the back of the main house for those looking for privacy. The tastefully furnished unit, has a well-equipped kitchen, with hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, and kettle. The bedroom has a queen bed, with TV and leads to the ensuite bathroom with a shower.
Parking is available and the apartment is serviced daily.
Khanya EKhaya is part of the well-reviewed KhanyaKude Bed and Breakfast and shares the facilities of the pool and braai area.

La maîtresse des lieux nous a très chaleureusement accueillis, sa maison est vraiment magnifique et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La chambre est très spacieuse, le lit très confortable et la salle de bain parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, très bon, fait maison (jus frais, salade de fruits, œuf à la demande...). Le personnel est au petit soin et très souriant. La connexion wifi est excellente pour ceux qui souhaitent utiliser internet. Bref, pour un séjour à Durban parfait je vous recommande vivement cette adresse!

Tutto! La posizione a una decina di km dal centro, in un quartiere tranquillo e con vista panoramica. La nostra stanza era stupenda e accogliente, così come tutta la casa, curata nei minimi particolari e dotata di ogni confort. Colazione deliziosa e preparata al momento. Pink e i suoi due cani ci hanno super coccolato, dandoci preziosi consigli per visitare la città. Super raccomandato!

Beautiful Guesthouse
Going for our first time to Durban area we really had a hard time finding some nice accommodation on the web as we were looking for a beautiful setting (no skyscraper building all from concrete surrounded as you will find it in beach-front places there only), a bit more homey and with nice views though, situated in close proximity to the city.And here we go - if you look for something like that with friendly hosts welcoming you: stay at Khanya Kude! Beautiful decorated room and bathroom with the personal touch and sense for details (only a mirror in the bedroom we were missing as second choice beside the one in the bathroom) plus very friendly and helpful hosts & staff. With regard to breakfast we would have loved a bit more selection to choose from, but it was nice and fresh, no real complaint as especially the breakfast-area itself kind of "compensates" a lot :)We will definitely recommend this place and keep our stay in very good memories!Thanks for everything to Pink & Pippa & Chris

Het uitzicht tijdens de zonsopkomst is geweldig! Alle reden om vroeg op te staan. Super mooi huis met alles wat je wenst: lekker bed, mooie badkamer, zwembad, gezellige zitjes en een aantal gezellige huisdieren. Het ontbijt werd s ochtends klaar gemaakt door Chris, heerlijk!!

Brilliant home away from home!
Very friendly staff, in particular, the owner Pink and her assistant Chris! The property itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood but yet close enough to shops, restaurants and the beach. The suite was spaciousness, had pleasant decor and sea view from my bedroom was stunning! No issues with Wi-Fi connectivity or efficiency, which tends to be an issue at some other establishments

Khanya Kude Bed & Breakfast is a true home away from home. Very tastefully decorated with a great veranda and pool area. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Well situated in the northern suburbs with easy access to all attractions.

Veramente incredibile quello che Pink e Pippa hanno messo in piedi. Una bellissima casa, arredata in modo originalissimo e pratico, della quale mettono a disposizione 3 stanze. L'accoglienza è superlativa con un drink di benvenuto e una piacevole chiaccherata. I due cani Russell & Jack sono affettuosissimi e seguono gli ospiti quasi ovunque per rubare una carezza in più. Il personale è altrettanto gentile, il tuttofare Chris è eccezionale, sempre sorridente, disponibile ed educato. Le colazioni che prepara poi sono grandiose. Pulizia ottima e asciugamani per la spiaggia o la piscina a disposizione. Insomma, se siete a Durban e non vi fermate qui, fate un grossissimo errore. Avanti così!

Lovely BnB, house, decor and garden beautifully complement an African theme/Natal home.
Fabulous location, close to shops and great restaurants. The property is a delight, love all the African artefacts, very well decorated, enticing areas to relax especially the large veranda and pool area. Very nice to have an honesty fridge and bar snacks, good idea. Bedroom was very comfortable, good aircon and fan, linen was excellent. and just love the dogs, Russell and Jack. Breakfast was lovely, thank you Chris !

Wish we had longer...
We arrived very early and was given breakfast even though it wasn't due to us. Breakfast was beautiful and fresh. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was tastefully decorated When the taxi didn't turn up to take us to the airport, we were driven by the owner to the airport. Very thoughtful and generous of them to do so.
